Anybody who has been in Japan for a couple of years would have heard about the secret that is "Hot Pepper". It's basically a magazine issued monthly in various cities throughout Japan, providing discount coupons for hundreds of restaurants, Izakayas, Bars, Hairdressers and Beauty Salons in the area. The main focus is in the "Restaurants" section which apart from providing us all discounts for some of our favourite eateries, is a good source of restaurant information. How often do we either stick to the same places we know and no know a really good place serving xxxx type of cuisine when we really need it. Discounts can be good too, some offering 10 - 20% of total bills, others set courses at half the price and also free drinks or desserts. Whatever your preference for that evening, you can be sure you can find a really good choice in hot pepper. |
