Homestores

If you're planning on doing a little D.I.Y, need some garden furniture, plants, bicycle etc then you'll need to go to a homestore.  There are plenty scattered around most cities but getting to some of them can be difficult without a car.  We have compiled a list of those in and around the nagoya area.

Kahma Homestore

Info: Located about 15 minutes walk from Kanayama Station on foot, Kahma is close enough to a station to go and check out.  Whether it's a new bicycle, tv stand, chest of drawers, pet food or indoor plants, Kahma has it all. Opening Hours: 10am-8pm / Open all year except 1st January Access: From Kanayama Station (North Exit) Cross the nearest traffic lights, verge left and follow the road round UFJ bank.  Cross over the large Crab restaurant and walk down the hill (should pass a 7/11 on your right) until you reach the raised railwway line. Cross to the railway side, turn left and follwo the line up to the next traffic lights.  Turn right, pass "Zip Drug store" on your right, go straight over the river and its right in front of you.
